Conventions

I have been stubborn.
I have always sought after the non-conventional life.
I have felt the conventions of life to be boring.
For some reason, I have always chased the wildest routine.
I have run against the wind
and enjoyed the breeze simultaneously.

I have experienced the utmost shutters from this path,
yet it has equally thrilled my imagination
each step of the way.

Now I know: the non-conventional life
provides a widening of the mind—
a pursuit not many are thrilled to take.
It is a way of familiarizing with chaos,
and learning to enjoy its beat.
